In plain English, these are the morals from Episode 45:
The title is just a play on words with the knitting thing, of course. The real meat of this plotline is the biz about giving Cassie back to Sharon. After this much time, there are several objections I can think of to Sharon even believing the original story. I had Sharon voice some of them and Nikki voice some others. It's not like giving back the child would mean the plotline would have to end. Please, let's just do something to move it along.
A waitressing job? That's what Y&R gave her? Ok, maybe that's realistic but it's also pretty dull. I thought I'd spice it up a little, adding both to the sizzle and the intrigue.
Playing this through also gave natural rise to the opportunity for a lot of people in town to have interesting dirt on a lot of other people. I think that's a good state for things to be in--gives people interesting leverage, raises the tension level all around. I wish we saw more of this.
I still don't buy Kurt as a nice guy. There's that thing with the police check, and that weird guy (who I'm calling Vinnie), who lead me to believe he has a shadier past. I think it'd be much more interesting if Kurt was not the saint he appears to be.
That's all for Episode 45's morals.
