Episode 76 Morals

In plain English, these are the morals from Episode 76:

Can Phyllis keep Brian from blowing the whistle?

It seems unlikely to me remarkably unlikely that Brian would testify voluntarily at this trial. If his wife found out, he'd be cooked. And forget about the video tape, how exactly is Cricket going to keep anyone on the other side from simply mailing a copy of the court transcript to the wife? That's not to say that perhaps the court couldn't make him testify, but really--this business of "trust me" that Cricket has worked is just not believable to me.

Anyway, this trial plot just goes on and on and seems so silly. There are myriad unbelievable things about it. I'd just as soon it be rushed to a speedy closing. Expect me to keep trying.

Will Trisha blow her big chance with Ryan?

Poor Jill seems locked into some loop of scripts she can have with Trisha. Of course, Trisha's been painted dumb enough that heavy repetition is necessary. Oh well. I do hope we find more for Jill to do soon.

The main thrust of this plot, though, was that often when there's a roommate who is pushing a woman aside, the other roommate ends up with her. So I tried that here and got major resonance. I really think Trisha is Neil's type! Maybe we should just leave these two in peace and move along. Maybe it would actually work out. I certainly don't want to see Neil back with Dru. Too dangerous!

Will Diane finally blow up at Nikki?

I've been waiting and waiting for Victor to cancel Newman Towers. I cannot honestly believe he wants it and it would be just like him to cancel it as a "favor" to Diane. He's just so clueless about the pain he's causing.

And beyond that, I think it's high time that Diane took some sort of action commensurate with the anger she feels. So nuclear weaponry seemed just about right.

Besides, people have been suggesting for years that maybe there's something between Miguel and Nikki. Nothing like a late night fire drill to see who's really sleeping with who, I always say.

That's all for Episode 76's morals. Don't miss Episode 77 and its morals!
