Episode 58 Morals

In plain English, these are the morals from Episode 58:

Why are lovebirds Paul and Cricket sick with a rash?

This thread was to commemorate how grossed out we all were on the newsgroup when we saw Paul and Cricket fishing around in the trash can to find the pregnancy test. My rendition of Olivia in this episode sums it up for us: "Ew!"

Time for rash action in the Victor/Diane `love' story?

It is simply not believable that Diane is going to marry Victor. They aren't even warm toward each other. I'm serious about the first-name business--it's what makes the story so unbelievable.

And only in writing this story did I finally understand what Victor's passion to say `my boy' and `my sweetheart' and all that was about; he really does think of not only every thing but also every one as a possession!

Upon reaching Kansas, why does Hope want to thrash Victor?

I felt like I had to create some sort of acknowledgement that Kurt and Hope were disappearing for a while. Their actors supposedly not going to be on the regular cast soon, and yet we've seen no hint of why they are leaving.

And again on the newsgroup, Bingo continues to hold center stage this week. I was trying to think of what Bingo would be busy doing if Victor had been `kind' enough to hire someone to take care of him. Being ever the business-minded guy that he is, I couldn't see him passing up the chance to make use of these animals in their idle time.

What would drive Phyllis to brashly rehash her escapades with Cricket?

I was trying to think of interesting plot situations that would be fun to arrange, and I really liked the idea of creating some reason that Cricket and Michael would have to forge a bond with each other even against their better judgment. It took a bit of work, and maybe it isn't entirely plausible--but then, plausibility hasn't seemed to be much of a prerequisite on the show of late, so I suppose my setup is `good enough.' And anyway, it was fun to write some of the goofball humor in here.

That's all for Episode 58's morals. Don't miss Episode 59 and its morals!
