In plain English, these are the morals from Episode 2:
Much humor and interest in the Phyllis/Tim relationship rests in how Phyllis can make Tim do things he doesn't want to. I was just exploring that.
Both of these actors have been annoying the heck out of audiences with their incessant whining. Something had to be done. (I'm glad the show has seen fit to put a muzzle on both of them since.)
Too much time elapses where we don't see certain offspring. If you're going to have a child, commit to showing it. If it's not convenient to some people's lives to have children, dare I suggest that an abortion plotline once in a while might illustrate that nicely?
The `family OB-GYN' thing here is still creepy. I thought some humor shined on it would help, but I'm not sure it did...
As numerous folks have remarked on the newsgroup, Hope seems to have lost her spine. She used to be a strong character and it's time she became so again. Being married for a woman should not mean losing your personality in your husband's.
That's all for Episode 2's morals.
Don't miss Episode 3
and its morals!
